  • Airbrush recommend

OK folks I thinking of investing in an airbrush for model making.
Sooooo does anyone use on or have any recommends I'have a large garage compressor that I could utilise. although it's rather overgunned, but for now I'll just be looking at an airbrush.
    Cheers Paul

I have a harder and steenbeck ultra 2in1. Very nice for under £100. Try not to be tempted to go for cheap Chinese clones.

    Things to think about:
    Garvity feed or suction?
    Dual action or single?
    Trigger or button?

Out of curiosity, what are you modelling? This is my current WIP, which is 99% complete:

          That looks superb Harry.
I'm going to be doing the Tamiya Jagdpanther in 1/35 scale.
I haven't done any serious modelling for a long time, but since my daughter got me an airfix Cromwell tank, its rekindled an old flame.
One question about your airbrush how secure are the push on cups as it looks like the models above are screw in.

Thanks. That sounds very much like my story too. I used to make plane kits a lot as a child, but stopped around the age of 16. Roll on 15 years and with the help of youtube and actually having some money, my skills have sky rocketed compared to previous. That was model #3 of 2018 after my girlfriend bought me a 1/72 Jet Provost T4; she had NO idea what she had done £700+ in kits, paints, airbrush and supplies later, I produced that F-16 and another Sadly I'm packing it all up again as I simply can't work tidily and I can't stand the mess in the spare room. I'll start it all up again when we get a bigger house etc.

The cups are very secure, but are easy to remove for cleaning. Unless you're being rough with it, they won't come out unless you want them too. The Iwata Neo range gets a lot of attention too, so you could look at those as well.
