Small "Trex 250" sized helis

What options are there for a decent small non Spektrum heli which is a similar size to the Trex 250?

I dug my old Walkera M120D01 out of the loft and quite like the idea of having a nice small heli which I can fly indoors.

I would use the Walkera but it has issues!

I will need something that I can use with a jeti receiver, ideally I would like to be able to swap out the flybarless unit with a spartan.

I have flown an old flybarred trex 250, which is a nice heli but wanted other options.

The only doubt that I would have is that it is pretty powerful for indoor flying

I will be flying in a grain store, its quite big, i have flown my 700 in there, not 3d though just circuits.

There's also the gaui 200? I remember Ash had a nice little 200/250 but can't recall what it was? Shame it never took off.....boom boom

Yup, Oxy2 by a country mile. I liked my Trex 250's but the Oxy 2 trounces them.

Tougher, easier to build, far higher quality. And it flies incredibly well for a heli this size, it handles more like my Protos 380 than my Trex 250, it's a very, very noticeable difference. I never could fly funnels well on my Trex 250, on the Oxy 2 I was flying them indoors in a gym, 2 feet from the deck, utterly locked in on its first flight.

Is there much of a difference between the factory edition and 190 sport?

Is the factory edition just an upgraded sport? Is it worth the extra £50?

There isn't a FE anymore, just a 190 sport and a 215 sport now. The 190 comes with plastic blades the 215 comes with the slightly longer carbon blades.

I think the FE/215 has metal head/tail etc where the sport has plastic parts , I think it’s worth the extra cost difference , also I would get the bigger lynx motor

the oxy3 is a true 250 & an awesome Heli , both are very crash damage resistant

The FE had metal parts, both the current models the 190 Sport and the 215 Sport use the same co-polymer. The difference is in the canopy, and that the 215 Sport has a longer boom and 215mm Zeal blades

I've considered getting either a new one, or buying the parts to put the plastic parts on my FE. I've not flown it yet for various reasons but I like the idea of having the lower weight parts.

I buy my oxy’s direct from Lynx , cheaper & free delivery , I’ve never had import duties & had about 15 delivery’s now

i started buying direct when uk shops stoped stocking heli’s & Spares , to begin with the prices were much better not as good now but still a good saving
and they have stock , they come direct from Vietnam & me & the guy’s at our club have never been hit with import duties

Received my oxy4 on Monday and if you look at the ups delivery it comes via Germany. Didn’t get hit by import and they marked down the value to.
