Yeah I bet he's excited, going from the smaller models to a nice and stable 700e is a nice step up.

I think I still have my 3GX settings files saved if you'd like to see them?
I stuck with V3.1 firmware as it seemed to be the nicest I felt, bit some liked V5.

I did mention to him before hand but I think he underestimated just how much nicer it would feel! Woke up to a text saying how happy he still was! Haha

Yes please that would be awesome bud, We both have zero experience with the 3gx so any guideline/pointers etc will be extremely helpful!
I couldnt comment on the firmware but when I plugged in the castle link there were 6 or 7 newer versions for that so it could well have never been updated updated!
