Had a quiet week so I decided to design an electric version of my nitro frame set. Based on 700X running gear and 700L spacing. This time the main frame is split in to 3 components (Upper Front, Rear and lower). It wont fly any differently I'm sure to what Align offer but a nice project.
Key Features:
Split main frame front, rear and lower,
Lower frame holds nothing vital if it breaks a few minutes to replace and cheap.
Multiple tail gear ratios,
Multiple main gear ratio's run any Align gear and any pinion combo,
Integral battery rail system for simplicity and ease,
Carbon frame stiffener,
Large esc mounting area,
Rails for tidy wire routing,
Lightweight 2mm integrated baseplate customisable,
Motor Counter bearing support (not shown)
I've just ordered it so hope to have one flying in about 3 weeks time. For me it's ideal common parts across the nitro and electric, common canopies with option of running any Align 700 canopy.
