Stock, what stock??

Just having a look on FL website as ya do, and was looking at flybarless controllers. Out of 24 listed products, they only have 3 in stock.

It seems for a lot of the products over the last few months they only have a handful of parts in on each page. If you was in the market for a full heli, inc all electronics, you would probably have to split the order between two or even three shops.

When I have a crash ,Which is usually every weekend i often have to get the spares from several shops due to out of stock items or back order items.

I must say Maj at align-trex.co.uk is keeping me plied with 600L parts. He has not been out of anything on the last 3 orders.

been like it for over a year and it seems to be getting worse. not enough people in the hobby for the amount of shops?

FL have been my go to shop but always used midland and Raj at align-trex too, but i have to use them all now to source my parts as more often than not i can not everything i want in one place so it is not just FL.

Robotbirds.co.uk have them a lot cheaper than that.

FL have them for £21.99 but no stock so i'm guessing the they have gone up rather recently and some have had to up the prices before others

I just converted my heli to flybarless I think I used four different shops for parts. The worst thing is I wanted a digital pitch gauge (not align) but nothing in stock anywhere so I did it manually. I did ask when stock would be arriving but no-one has any idea all they can say is there on backorder. All pretty sad really as I do not really want to order from overseas but I may have to.

I agree, the shops are first to get the blame for having no stock but in most cases it is not their fault, Align UK is pants at the moment and has been for a while. Scorpion Uk is gone, Horizon Hobby UK is gone and thats just what i know about.

Even worse if you are a thundertiger owner parts are very hard to get hold of you dont want to crash a raptor or blow up your redline engine, even noticed
os spares are thin on the ground now.

I waited 5 weeks for back order to come in from RC hero then they said we will refund me the money and I would have to get the part from some one else.Due to they can't tell me when they would get some stock in.5 weeks no flying which is not got waiting on parts and still have to wait some more from some one else.

The whole thing has become a joke. They want us to support our uk shops but they're just not keeping the stock. Spares, blades, canopies, lipos servos, all of the stuff we need are not in stock yet we can order from abroad without stock problems. This isn't a demand issue or a supply problem it just seems they are reluctant or maybe unable to invest in large orders unless they are a guaranteed a quick sale. It's actually cheaper to order from say world of Heli and pay just one shipping fee to get your full order at the same time
