Always use then just to give the servo a bit of movement
they come with the servos for a reason

The grommets and bushes have been supplied with servos for years but times and tech change and I see no advantage on a modern electric helicopter in fact the more rigid and slop free the better especially for 3 D flight. I can see some advantage with engine vibration on nitros but don't think they are a necessity these days

I installed them on my aligns as they came in the kit!

when I built the goblin I asked the q, and most said don't use them and just clamp the servo down on the bolts. I pushed the servos down and back to seat them against the carbon, then nipped them up!

Just found these, anyone knw what size servo they fit.....I need some for Align 530's......don't want to put rubber grommets on my new 500X....

Futaba Servo Grommets (S3003) (Pk20)

Hard mount with carbon spacers...dont like the look of the rubber squeeziong out of the servos nor the not so solid feel when tightening the servos to the frame with brass bushings in place...brass and rubber is for balsa IMO

The futaba S3003 is a full size servo.

Aren't these rubber grommets?
