  • Goblin Nitro engine options

    Hi all,

After a somewhat extended break from the hobby I have decided to return now that I've found a local club.

Seeing that my current fleet seems to be lacking in the spares department I thought just build something new.

I've not really been a big nitro person so I'm a bit lost as to what my options are for the engines on the goblin. I'm looking to have it with 690's on it. Unless there is a good reason why I should stick to 650's? ( Edit: looking at the Nitro black 700, what i meant was is there any reason to go for the 650 version over a 700)

So let's here what you guys think!

    Thanks!

    Ben

Yeah, there is a good reason. You cant safely run 690 blades unless you also fit the longer tail boom etc from the 700. You can go up to 660mm with the standard boom, any bigger and you risk the main and tail blades hitting each other.
