Parallel Charging

As I said in my post, soldering blade fuses (standard car fuses) into the main charge cables is easy (pre-tin, solder a wire each side, bend the legs over to make it smaller and put heat shrink over the top).

Fusing parallel balance cables/boards could actually cause problems. I opted not to fuse mine.

Yeah, it was more the balance connectors being fused (with poly fuses) that I had in mind. The only problems I've ever had with parallel charging is burning the balance traces on the board and/or the balance wires and plugs. This happens if I've got careless and touched the wrong pins when i've gone to connect the balance plug. Poly fuses should stop that happening but my boards are un-fused so i dont know how they work in practice.

i cant help with the generator, it's something I've no experience of.

My issue is I have soldering ec5's. Too many close calls with the reaper trying to push the bullet into the housing with a screw driver. I really don't fancy making up 10 ec5 extension leads. That's 40 skirmishes with death I can do without.

Either use a pair of pliers to hold the EC5, or make a jig from a block of wood. A couple of holes drilled into it makes a nice seat for the EC5, and then your fingers are nowhere near as you push the bullet in.
