Just a quick 'heads up' for 700X owners.
The tail pushrod supplied with the kit is a little too short which leaves only about three turns of thread engaged in the plastic ball links and they can pull out in flight. It's easy to miss because the first part of the bore of the link is un-threaded, so it seems at first that there is enough thread inserted until you realise that most of what's inserted does nothing. The root of the problem is that the new 700X frame move the servo forward slightly compared to previous models. A longer pushrod was intended and the manual states that the pushrod should be 766mm long, but the actual rod supplied is the one from the 'old' 700L/700e which is 760mm long.
There are two ways to fix the problem. You can heat the threaded part of the pushrod with a soldering iron, pull out the threaded part when the glue goes soft, then epoxy it back but sticking out an extra 6mm (it's easily long enough), or do it at both ends by 3mm if symmetry is important to you. Alternatively just use a Quick UK 22mm long links to replace the Align ones.
Luckily i picked it up during the build. Some guys have flown their 700X's with the stock pushrod an got away with it.. but some havent been so lucky:
