  • 12v Starter

    Hi All
Hope everyone enjoyed the brilliant weather!!

    Need a bit of advice.....
Cud anyone recommend a 12v Starter that is smaller in circumferance, than all the regular ones. All the regular ones are too big for my little hands!!

A good alternative is a cordless electric drill. Nothing fancy.. just a good one from B&Q, Homebase or Argos will do the trick. Just make sure your hex wand is able to detach from the standard starter block.

The Kavan starter is a lot smaller as it is geared.

Doesn`t spin as fast as most, but is more than enough to get a 50 started

          Flatspins......
Many thanks. Ordered from Sussex models......£29.99. Most of the other places were more than £40 sqids.

So how do you get around the one way with a drill? Still using a Starter but looking to change...

Chuck up a 1/4" shaft in the drill and bolt the wand to the shaft.

My wand is one of the ones that go inside the rubber thing and thrash your heli to death if you aren't careful

                Unless I'm missing something...

In that case get something like the Robbe Hex starter wand http://www.skylinemodels.co.uk/Links...5&cat=0&page=1

It can go in a cup or it can be bolted to a shaft.

LOL. Yes but it will be the last wand you will need to purchase.
