Hey

I have ec5's on my 600l 12s 3300 packs. I bought some supra S6;s for the goblin and have been impressed with them so far. They are a dream to solder, and you don't have to risk ya life pushing the bullet thru with an allen key like the ec5's.

I will continue with the S6's on the goblin, if they continue to impress I will migrate the 600l over

I converted my 12S packs to the Supra X connectors a while ago and have been really impressed. They just seem much easier to use and provide a more elegant solution in a series setup. I still use EC5s on my 550 though which creates a minor problem with charging - I use an EC5 para board with some Supra-X leads I plugin in for charging the 12S packs. Pics attached. There are always concerns about plugging the wrong connectors together but I have not done this because the series connectors are always plugged together first and are separately colour coded. It's nice to have the choice.

Supra D6's, no comparison to an EC5 and have never looked back. Use Supra D4's for my 2s packs which are similar to EC3's.

I think if you are happy with the ec5's mate, then carry on using them. Also if any time your charger or lipo goes down, chances of a pal having ec5's on his stuff to help you out is a lot higher. Yes the ec5's spark when you connect them, but that's what makes it fun lol, I bought a load of HK and always have 20 pairs in my box, just in case I or anyone needs any. On the other hand, if you are changing the whole lot in your fleet, maybe time for a change, but that's quite costly I imagine and a lot of soldering work?

Ok smart arse,,,, mechanical physical long bar of metal you can actually touch and a little box that accepts one servo only.
