        Hi chappers
Yes that kit was offered at Longhorsley but when approched about it the stallholder refused to sell it claiming that there was only one at that price and it was being held for someone. The rest were the price qouted.

I talked with the same guy at the Yorkshire show and he qouted me then 220 for the kit motor and esc. I must admit I was tempted but I never spend money without doing reserch, so it was going to wait til some other time

Hi Dave thanks for the link will peruse it later

        Regards

        Mike

                    Mike,

I can ditto about Heliaddicts, spot on company.

I've probably dealt with around 8 different online shops in the UK for RC gear, and they win hands down.

The heli is an excellent piece of kit. I've been having fun with it for a good three months now and apart from the awful white plastic (it really is as bad as it comes) this is a very nice heli.

I'm just rigging mine with an EYECAM at the minute - it's so stable I should get some excellent footage back.

Thanks for that the order is made . Couple of questions if ya dont mind.
Did you fitt the ark motor and esc or do you recomend another combo.
This is my first forey into electrics and I am a bit nervous about the technology. Must be all them septic's and thier horror stories
                      appreciate any advice

                      regards
                      Mike

this boils down to one thing, do you want power for 3d or potter about?

                        cheers

                          Mike,

I'm using the 2800kv align motor and the 25amp Align ESC, also the New Align HH gyro. For me (sport flying no 3D) I find it excellent and it has easily enough power.

There are a few things about the heli that need sorting on build (elevator slop, servo catching on the underside of the canopy, but these are easily sorted, and there are some excellent mods (grins not bragging) over on x400tuning.com

I was flying a blinged up hummingbord V3 before this, but this thing really is on another level, it's such good fun to fly and reacts really nicely to stick inputs.

The spool up on the motor was a bit of a surprise (quick) after the hummer, but once you've got used to it - great stuff.

Oh the Kokam 2200 lipo is a cracker, large (ish) and a bit heavier, but it kick out power for fun.

If you need one Aurora in Sheffield are spot on and very helpful too.

                          Jase
