Tenerife , 3 heli's & 34 batteries

2 oxy3's , 35 batteries & a blade 180cfx went on holiday to Tenerife (sandos sanblas) next to the airport
my mate took his golf clubs so I took my heli's lol
I was a bit concerned about possible problems getting the batteries through but they went through the check in without any real problems
they did swab each individual one on the way out but not on the way back
it was well worth the effort

Cool! I've been to Tenerife once and Gran Canaria a bunch of times. I took a 450 to GC one year and flew on the beach a little bit in Las Canteras. I have tried to find clubs or network with any rc flyers over there but never could. The Canaries can be a bit windy sometimes but they're warm year-round and there's usually some flyable weather most of the time.

it was flyable most days , normally about 10-15 mph winds , occasionally a bit less

the two pictures were taken from the same spot one looking inland and one out to sea

the flying site was 400 yards from my hotel

Stayed in that hotel in the background last year but took full advantage of the all inclusive drink so would not have been in a fit state to fly

the hotel was called sandos sanblas & that was the hotel I was in
