Remember, I did say 'up to'
...but, as ever, the answer depends on what you are doing, and how much of a safety margin you want, but if you just want to send a drone out on a 30 min flight you'll have little trouble doing it with a Matrice using twin packs (rated for 40 mins). Increase the payload with camera etc. and you'll drop below 30, but still a credible 24+ mins, but I don't fly Matrice personally.
DJI P4 will happily do 20-25 mins using a 462g battery. The new pack, just released for the P4Pro adds about 10% to those numbers for only an extra 6g in weight.
I'm certainly not flying in the most efficient manner to get those times so more is certainly possible and I don't have any problem believing that you can do 30 mins these days, but 30 mins of what? and carrying what? is really the question.
More power density will be needed to move those figures from duration challenges into practical expectations.
