I would think about joining a local club to get advice and help with setup.
The 450 looks worth a punt. The seller doesn't give much info about the flight sim so I would probably avoid or ask him which version it is. Some folk have no idea how to sell!
The 250 is best avoided as they are two small and difficult to work on for beginners.

You would be much better in the long run buying a DX6/DX6i and assuming you haven't flown before buying a blade 120sr or blade 230 with the rescue function. It will save
you a lot of cash and frustration.

Yeah, the 450 would not be a bad buy if you could get it for close to the starting price. It is a model that's several years old and quite out of date by current standards, but it would be ok as a cheap learning tool. Parts are still readily available and quite cheap for the older Trex helis.

As already noted, you would need radio. Someone had a new DX6 listed in the classifieds here that might still be available. Count on needing a new battery, the one in the listing must be quite a few years old so quite likely to be of no use. You would also need a LiPo charger.

Agree, trex 450's are a fairly good starter even the older ones and parts are cheap. Definitely avoid the 250 though they are a bit of a nightmare from experience, can be very difficult to get flying right even for someone with experience.

Micro helis are great particularly for practicing indoors although aren't as stable as larger helis so when it comes to flying outside a 450 size is a good choice.

+1 I wouldn't start off on ebay as you may end up with a lot of pain just to get something in the air. I'm presuming you haven't flown of course.
