What LiPos?

Looks like the 40c 5000mah 6s lipos I use in the 570 and 700 have been discontinued from hk and they were great for my flying;

They were my favourites too, shame the discontinued them.

Real shame. I had those in the 3300mAh size for my fusion and they took a good beating. Must have had 200 flights on them, and yes they were a little swollen, but still gave out good power. £28 each too...

My Haiyins don't seem to be living too well. They were fantastic when I first got them but they are swelling up after only about 4 mins in the air now.

I've been using them as well, the hayins that I also use have gone from £50 to £85 a pack as well, at that price I will probably get opti's just not as many.

I am in the same boat. Been looking at Opti 5000 30c? I know the 50c take an absolute beating - club mate competes and smacks them hard, but do the 30 last just as well? At around twice the price of the HK Blues they don't seem too bad if they last.

I've had the 30c optis before and they puffed really quickly tbh, I prefer the haiyins tbh.

I have some of the 30C Zippies in 3000mAh size. They are ok, similar in performance to the 20C Haiyins but not as good as the 40C Turnigy. Mine have lasted pretty well, they are three years old now and starting to show their age but still usable as long as i dont fly too hard.

I'd say they are ok providing you aren't a hard 3D flyer, if you are you probably want something with higher C rating.

I use these in my Blade 550x and Goblin 700.
Haven't had any puffing with them like i used to get with the Turnigy 5000 30C's.
I currently have 8 of them, and even the old ones haven't puffed and they must be at least 2yrs old.

Can't say what they would be like for hard 3D, I imagine they would puff up then.
But for my flying style they work really well.

They wont ship lipos to the uk anymore unfortunately so were stuck with limited choice from HK or hand deep in the pocket elsewhere

Came across these lipo's. They say they are made by Haiyin and they are in your neck of the woods Harry so i reckon you ought to check them out for us

They are,but then haiyins are also scorpion packs. Where does it stop...? Ha
