  • Park receiver for racing quad?

Hi all - I just got a 250 racing quad this week (Feilun FX127 Chaser)
I changed the radio to my DX9... but I only have a 6ch park receiver. AR6115E
Is this ok for the time being?

This is my first racing quad and I won't be flying it FPV for a while as I've never done that.. I just want to practice in a big open field first...

Most people who race with spektrum jus use a satellite receiver straight into the flight controller.

If you need more range, then look into lemon receivers with ppm or preferably sbus output. There's also spektrum's specific fpv race receiver that does satellite, ppm and srxl.

Pwm (6115) will work, but it limits choice of flight controllers and can be more trouble to get working, believe it or not.
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.

Lemon satellite but you may need to bind before using on its own. Got a lemon Rx you can borrow to bind just cover the postage but together you're talking about twenty quid

no need for a receiver to bind the lemon sats, cleanflight/betaflights/etc.. can all do that easily on their own via the UI

I got about 500m on a park flyer.
Went behind a tree and it dropped out the sky.

Was fine over the top of it for a bit further.

Thanks all - I definitely won't fly fpv with it using the park receiver.. I just wanted to fly in front of me getting the feel of it.
I have looked into using satellites but apparently I need an adapter to drop the voltage down to 3.3v?!

            It's a CC3D board
