LOL it was a public show - they were full size Hawker Hurricanes - quite intimidating in a way TBH when they fly straight at you... Merlins sound luvverly...Although TBH it was more like 200 metres.
Thats why I loved it - never seen them so close before. I would have stood closer if I was allowed to.
You want excitement, you get risk - they are the same thing.
You want safety - go sleep in a cupboard till you die.

well interesting to see happen what I just predicted not so long ago - also interesting comments ... I do agree with Dave but when I do I put myself in danger and I am well aware of it when standing next to someone at the flight line ... having experienced losing a tail myself and seeing the hell shooting into the distance with th on I know how far they can travel - opposite direction would have gone right through myself, our pits and probably right into the bushes or further as it was on full speed - it did travel maybe 400m ? ... hence ever since I generally fly in quite a distance not to endanger myself or anyone else ...

I just can't get my head around it why such manoeuvres seem to be more exciting rather than the same being on spot 20m high and 30m out ... its still the same manoeuvres isn't it ... anyway ... I think nets might help to prevent such unforeseeable events ...

I think the main reason for flying so low and close is because it's flirting with danger which makes things more exciting and if you fly yourself you can appreciate the skill. I remember seeing Dunkan Bossion at zone village in 2014 and being gobsmacked at how 'reckless' he flew. But then all of us were baying for blood anyway lol

Take as much risk as you like with your own life. Do you not think the safety of people around you is important?

Yep exactly - you all shout "LOWER" till a crash happens, then you all bleat on about safety - that's why I consider you all to be a worthless herd of retards, as I may have slightly pointed out before...
You lot have the collective wit of a small earthworm IMO.

Yep, I think you have pointed it out a few times Trevor, but then I'm not sure anyone gives credence to anything you might have to say

LOL Wavey dude, at least you have the brain of a weasel...
I, on the other hand, am two seperate retards...
One for launching without my aileron servos plugged in, and another one for being so stupid I didn't remember that it could be flown very well on rudder only....
2 retards for the price of one!
