Will a spektrum rpm back plate sensor fit ok on this engine ???? and using v bar neo on pro with rescue fitted to a nx4.

From memory the backplate is too small and not deep enough. I think they only fit 50's an above, but could be wrong

Im not sure there is one that will fit - again this is all from memory so I could be wrong.

I remember having to fit a magnet on the clutch bell and sensor on the heli frame on my '30 size nitro, but it is a few years ago now.

The NX4 has magnets mounted in the fan and a Hall effect type sensor can be mounted to the side frame here



Gaui do make a sensor but not seen it stocked anywhere, both the Align and Spartan sensors do fit though I believe.

Thanks for that nitro head !!! But will the align or spartan sensors work with v bar neo without any issue ???? As I use v control & really like how the v bar nitro governor works & was hoping for a plug & play just like the spektrum rpm sensor is.

The align sensor works fine. Mine did until the heli had a little accident...

Awesome that's great news the align one works with v bar neo. All I need to do now is track one down lol can anyone point me in the direction of one please.

im not a Vbar user but I know people use the align sensor but you have to change the connector.

the Spartan sensor has a standard servo plug so should be plug and play? Maybe a Vbar user can confirm that it works?
