  • ESC and BEC Question

I have fitted a Castle cremations 120 HV on my TDR, however there's not a lot of room to also fit my Castle bec pro, so I have decided to pop it on top
    of my ESC.

Has anyone done this and had problems/interference? Or am I better putting the BEC elsewhere?

    Cheers.

IN THEORY if an esc has an internal bec and it causes no problems then an external bec sat on top should the same?

Only potential issues I'd see is that the heat from the ESC will heat up the BEC, so it may not be able to deliver it's full rating without overheating.. Though probably not an issue unless you were pushing the BEC to it's limits. Plus in the unlikely event that the ESC went 'bang' it could take out the BEC too.

Both of these issues are true of an internal BEC too of course.
