Finally live in the mikado shop.

999euros for airframe and blades! Would've been cheaper if they'd only released a few weeks ago

That is a very expensive airframe and blades combo! £850! (approximately) will have to wait for some reviews from mere mortals.

Wow, not cheap at all. But then I kind of expected that price.

So how come mikado USA are showing $999? That's about 11% lower.

No VAT added in the usa, their prices are always lower. To be honest the price is kind of what I expected - it's not their fault our currency has fallen of the shelf. Worth rememebring that it also comes with the latest blades.

Buy it before you have to pay import duty lol!

Ouch!.. I guess no one expected cheap but they really seem to be trying to move to the exclusive end of the market with that pricing.

It would have been only £720 last year but GBP has gone down the toilet. I'm expecting 10-15% price increases on most things in the hobby.

Goblin 700 carbon comp is about £850 for kit and blades. So I guess it sits with the rest of the higher end market price wise. If it works out at £850 that is.

To be honest I'm not surprised nor do I think it unreasonable. In the greater scheme of things airframe is only a small part of the cost and it is on par with competitors.

                  It looks awesome though!

Standard Gob 700 Comp is about £750... you pay the extra £100 for the carbon version because you get solid carbon canopy and boom. If you are going to compare to a Goblin then the stock one would be the one.. If they ever bring out a Logo 700 Carbon edition then fair enough.

End of the day if the buyer thinks it good value then that's fine, it just seems like a huge price hike vs. the 690SX (about £600 with blades)... no?

The claimed weight is interesting, is this in line with what people were hoping for/expecting?
                        With off-the-shelf components and 5,000 mAh batteries, an all-up-weight of 5,300 g / 11.86 lb is possible.

After seeing one up close at Helifest and watching Mirko & Kyle throw them about, one of these is definitely on my wish list as a next heli!

To be fair it comes with a new swash plate, tail slider, landing gear and main gear. Plus the carbon canopy and boom. But I do take your point.

I dont see why the stock goblin comp would be the one to compare it to though? Why not the carbon comp? The point is it's a Heli, from a different manufacturer, in a similar price range. Both models are the top of the range for both brands. So why are they not comparable?

Either way...people love to jump on Mikado pricing. Its certainly a nice looking machine regardless of cost imo. I would certainly like to abuse one

If you go by EU prices, the non carbon Comp is about 30 euros cheaper than the new Logo. The carbon is almost 1100 euros (£930).

I have a feeling those prices will find their way to these shores once current stock dries up.
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.
