  • In 20 years time....

I can only hope to be as good as kyle dahl. After watching him yesterday a few times at helifest i was completely blown away. with a mixture of 3d and huge sky madness, that really is the kind of flying i aspire to.

That was my first heli event to speak of and im now addicted to the hobby again!. Helifest was awesome, it was nice of the weather to hold out too!.

Your completely right, he was amazing!, if I flew until I was a 100 years old I would never be able to fly like him, but I'll keep on practising and with regards to the Helifest, this is my fourth year and it just keeps on getting bigger and better

I went along yesterday. I missed the noon-ish demos, so had to wait for what seemed like an eternity to see him fly, and then only once. I'm sure I'd have seen him sooner if I'd stayed to watch the main flight line.

It was my first visit there, despite always wanting to go. The problem is, now I want to go for the whole event, but can't get there. My club mate, who I met there goes every year, and he says it's the busiest he's ever seen it. As I was leaving, I looked towards the heli flight line and it was heaving. A few hundred watching, at least.
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.

My 3rd or 4th visit and without a doubt the busiest yet. Arrived at 1030, thirty minutes of which were spent queuing on the A5 to get in, never had to do that before. Full marks to the boys and girls from the AirTraining Corps getting everybody parked quickly and efficiently. I split my time between all three flight lines, the tents and the cars having a thoroughly great time. Same criticism as previous years however, no programme to tell you what's going on where and when.
