align heli and 815 hv servos

really starting to wonder if this heli is a bad omen , Align 600 e Dominator . had it 6 months and still unflown with £400 worth of batteries sat on the shelf. unhappy is not the word!!

build was ok tried setting up on Gpro to start with and 815 hv servo failed which the shop replaced free of charge .
decided to ditch the gpro as never liked its predecessor, have sourced a mini Vbar now just working through setup and yes you guessed it same failure on a different 815 hv!

really think Align need to sort there ****ing shit out!!!!!!

Had one fail in the setup , got them all replaced for batch number servos and been flawless since

hi jim its Andy form gloucester , bens dad, am really starting lose alot of faith in align helis. all the early stuff with Flybars had a 500 , 700 and still got a 250 no problems at all.
550 dfc wentin through a swash ball failure and this 600 nearly 6 months old and still not flown it .

have a goblin500 which i built and sourced all the radio gear my self and its awesome !
2other club members now have a 500 goblin ......

did the failed servos have the batch numbers on the bottom? Its was a known issue that some of those without batch numbers were prone to early failure.

Quite a common and know problem with 815s of a certain vintage. At least they tend to fail on the bench rather than in flight.
This was addressed by the batch marked servos. Contact your retailer and get it changed out.

On the plus side, when they work, they're absolutely fantastic servos. Strong, silent, super fast, and efficient.

At our club a couple of members are running align helis with this servos fitted and a total of 5 servos have failed in close succession. After a lentghy three months of being away back to the retailer we have now received replacements. All of the failed ones were not serialised.
