You would think that when setting condition priorities such as Normal, Throttle Hold, Idle 1 etcetera etcetera, that the highest priority condition would be at the top of the page and then descend accordingly with the lowest priority at the bottom.
Not so the Futaba 14SG.
This all came to light the other evening when I thought I would test out the Auto Bailout on the Helijive on my 7HV. At height in Idle1 I set throttle hold and nothing happened. It seemed that throttle hold didn't work in idle1. It worked fine in normal mode but I wasn't going to try and auto in normal mode.
Well I've just read the manual which is probably what I should have done in the first place. I had throttle hold above idle1 on the menu thinking it was a higher priority. In fact it was a lower priority.
I moved throttle hold to the bottom of the page and it now has the highest priority and everything works as it should, at least according to the servo display. Haven't flown it since. How ar$e about face is that.
Another lesson learnt.
