Good for pubs etc but no good for model aircraft flying, as even if it is taking place on an airstrip, RC model flying is treated totally differently to full size aircraft.

100%... and I'm pretty sure it's always been the case that you don't have an argument if you moved to the 'nuisance'

The principle and precedent the court set is interesting and relevant though, if someone moves into an area where a long established club operates and it can be shown that they were aware of the club before they did so then it would limit their ability to complain as long as the club had taken all reasonable steps to minimise the nuisance.

Croft, my local suffered that I believe. If the heresay is to be believed the parents of the "ex" wife of the track owner, who live near the circuit began complaining about the noise from the circuit after she and her husband split.
The number of trackdays and the noise limits suffered greatly. Shame, its a great track.
