Hi i really need help on this one please

ive gone and bought a spirit flybarless gyro and ive been struggleing with the set up on my DX9

been over and over with basic set ups and ive got it hovering but nodding and cant set rescue or gov for some reason

are you using a dx9 mode 2 with spirit and are willing to transfer your radio settings onto a sd card so i can at least set my tx properly

on either trex 700n or 600n

or better still can i come and pay you a visit to help me set up my helies

I've just set one up on a Goblin and DX18 (same programming as DX9)

The nodding will be cyclic gain too high, i had similar on the goblin and had to back the cyclic gain dial down. Find the gains in the software under the 'Sensor' tab.

To get rescue working you have to set a flight mode with negative gain value (say -50 for starters). Easiest way to do this is by using a flight mode for rescue and setting gyro gain switch to 'Flight Mode' and programming the required minus value for the flight mode you use for rescue.

You can enable an extra flight mode by going into 'System setup' > 'F-Mode Setup' and in that menu set 'Switch 2' to the switch that you want to use for Rescue.
