HV Throttle Servo?

Hi all,

Probably been asked a million times before, but what do you guys use for throttle servo on an HV setup? Going HV and totally forgot to take this into consideration, as currently on 6v across the whole model.

Really don't want to use a step down on throttle, so what's the cheapest, but reliable HV servo out there?

Something like this? Futaba S3072HV Digital HV S-Bus Servo P-S3072SBHV

Or go to HK?

I'm using an Hitec HV but an analogue one which is slower than the other offerings. You can chose whether digital or analogue on the Vortex. The one you've chosen is ideal I reckon

I need to replace mine on my 700n - now is it possible to use a 'double' step down diode arrangement and then a 6V servo?... to take a 2S lipo direct?..

Harry, Slight thread hijack - what servos have you gone for on cyclic? I am going to HV my 700n and not sure what to go for!

You could try a Hitec HS 5665MH It is high voltge and fast too with a sensible price tag

I've gone for BLS272SV. From what I can tell they're more or less the best cyclic servos you can get. I'm a sucker for Futaba stuff anyway They're about £110 each RRP, but got a BNIB set for under £200 second hand
