I went to Basildon RC helis today just to have a look for myself.They all seemed very friendly and helpful. The imfamus John Watts seems like a very nice, helpful man and a very good pilot. I flew the raptor for a few tanks too!

I appreciate some people may not get on with Mr Watts but from what I saw on Sunday he seemed a reasonable man. I have heard from a few others that he's a good guy

I'm not blind or deaf Ron and I quite like the guy.
He taught me that bipolar disorder can be very entertaining in a heli pilot.
He helped me out when I knew jack about the hobby, and was really very warming, well apart from those days tye was a ****, Ronnie wasn't regular enough, bens not all that, this new kid bought a skookum but his dad's a ****,why does no other **** cut the grass in the ditch etc etc, "normal" they call that down there you know.
then.......out of nowhere......... BOOOOOOOM!!!
Youll be fine jake, just follow his rules and you'll have a nice local field for £100 a year, plus bmfa of course and don't forget your subs too if you want to enter the castle.
maybe some other ex members will try to put you off but really you just need to do as the king tells you and it's very pleasant.

I do find it rather strange that all members pay 100 pounds and none of that goes into club funds it all goes strait to the farmer at least thats what I have been told.
