Vcontrol RPM external Gov

This isn't something I have done but keen to get the actual rpm showing on my Vcontrol. Using an external gov (Jive) If I fit a phase sensor and run back to the rpm port will this show rpm on the Vcontrol with external gov selected?

Was reading a thread on helifreak an I'm sure this is the case yes, ppl were running a Hyperion or hobby wing sensor and getting the rpm on screen from the kosmik and jives .

Works like that on my Neo, using Hobbywing phase sensor and Jive pro 80 + HV with it's own gov. Had to go to into V Control menu - Model set up - Extensions - RPM display Setup and enter Sensor Config In my case 10 pole motor = 5 in Config box and gear Ratio details.
