Me, reluctantly the missus and the boys (not reluctantly, they love it). Hopefully the weather is like last year, it was glorious all weekend, it promises to be a stonking competition with a few new faces making top placings this year in other comps.

Trev Burley, I'll keep the boys away from the ACCURC tent this year, you must have got bored stiff with the endless questions, "Hey mister, can it do planes?"

Booked our motorhome place months ago and loads of heli-fliers from our club joining us on the Saturday, so should be a great weekend.

Are these 'spectator friendly' events that I can attend just be be nosey? It's right on my doorstep and I'd love to go for a look see for a few hours but have to admit I was utterly confused with what I was watching at Weston Park.

Oh, you're in for a treat. Come along £3 and more 3D than you can shake a stick at. If you're doing one day go for the Sunday, buy some tickets in the raffle and have a great day

Very spectator friendly. It was the first comp I went to just to watch, brought my 2 year old son along at the time which was my first weekend adventure with him without my wife.

Bring along a fold out chair, something to drink, something to eat and a hat for the sun (and maybe an umbrella) and you are pretty much sorted.

There is a burger van type thing if you forget the food or the drink.

If you are really lucky and they have excess pilot hoodies then you can even buy them and (like me) pretend that you were competing there.... though my clubmates saw through that in about 2 seconds.
