Gyro Gain with Mini Vbar and DX8

I've just built my 450 3s dominator with Mini Vbar/DX8 and it flys, however it's got a bit of tail wag and abit of elevator nod.
This is my first build/setup since last year due to one thing or another, but I can't remember what way the gyro gain works. I had it at 5 and 10 and then went down to -30 and -60 which was the best? Is this still heading hold mode though. How do I cure the nodding which isn't that bad to be fair?

Also how do I do a trim flight?

Is you vbar on pro or express?

I am not sure what you mean by the -30 -60 but i always make my adjustments on the pc software.

On my 450L i run a 59 tail gain and 60 on the cyclic gain. holds very well for me.

As for the trim, i a guessing you are having a drifting problem? I would just make sure the swash plate is level and you should not have any drifting.

The minus numbers are on the tx in the gyro menu. I'll have another look tomorrow and see if I can remember what I used to do. I do remember having 3 different gyro gains which I could switch between in flight. I've a bit of a drift but it's ok.

Ok i see what you mean now, i have my gyro gain set to -8 on my transmitter to get 59 on the vbar software for my tail.

Sorted now mate. I had to select aux - gyro on the menu because its pro software. -5.5 is 60 for me
