for the sake of 1.25 litres i would rather have a nicely tuned and cool running engine...i didn't get that with the dynaglo...got about three blown engines though.where are all the model technics users and their thoughts please. i was told the bekra mix is ok but the rest are a bit hit or miss?can't reveal my source but a well known shop, though another well known shop said when i asked about fuel was" oh so and so sell that crappy magnums".now both of these shops are staffed by good or great pilots so what am i to do??

I use WC CYB 30% and not had n e issues with it .. plus the LHS stocks it as well ....Only MT fuel i use is for my planks ....When i was at the clubman last weekend i noticed it was magnum and wildcat they where running ( well apart from the pilot with the smelly fuel lol )... As for the nitro content I always used 30% and cant fault the stuff ... plus the fact i can get it all the time as as well where i live

Never said I used DynaGlo
Too much castor oil in that, dirty and shitty, ideal for planks though

My comments related to Slough RC, not to Skyline, soOriginally posted by Janek View PostThe Manager is called "Nobby", and his nickname sums him up nicely.
The shop is owned by the owner of Rip(off)Max. . . . .that tells a story as well
Slough = Rip(off)MaxJanek
Why does it always persist down at weekends ?

Ahh good old slough, it amazes me they are able to keep running a shop of that size with the amount of people they must alienate in a daily basis there.
I've said it before and I will say it again.
I would drive a 100 mile round trip to buy a tube of CA than spend money in that place again

agreed - I bought one of the 'pilot ez' mustangs from there a few years back and finally came around to building it recently so I rang them for info (and to buy) wheels and retracts along with servos that would fit in the very thin wing - was astonished by their lack of help on what was a very expensive kit....
On the other hand called skyline at 12:30 yesterday for some bits (sceadu tailboom and a belt for the trex) and 22 hours later they're in my hands in scotland - awesome...Last edited by andylinney; 24-05-2008, 10:27 PM.sigpicX2

I have used Skyline Models for same years now they are about a 40 min drive from me, slough is 5 mile so i phone Slough Models and they had stock, i ended up getting part from Skyline, who ever i spoke to at slough was on another planet.
Also i have been trying to get landing legs for my Elite 3D Pro tried everywhere, tried Skyline and spoke to Bob to be told he keeps them parts in stock for another type of heli. Ordered two packs arrived next day.
My thanks go to Skyline ModelsToday's outlook is fine for flying.- Spektrum DX18 gen2, Phoenix Sims, Align MR25XP.
