Anyone fly around Leeds?

Hi all

Been flying since Christmas and would love to find someone else around the Leeds area that flies choppers that I could meet up with. I have just taken the stabilisers of mine and can hover and land nose out pretty well now.

Sounds like a personal ad on a dating site lol.

That's great, thanks for the tips. Found a couple of clubs in the Leeds area that seem to offer the BMFA insurance as part of membership.

My wallet is already feeling it. I am getting really good at fixing the chopper now though!!!

I used to fly at the South Leede Club several years ago and i remember you Gavin. I'm Phil who used to fly helicopters there. I moved to Wigan and now fly at the local club here. How are things at Middleton park? i understand the clearings have changed a lot as there are more trees now at the end where helis used to fly.

hi phil hope your well. Ive just got back into the helis after having a 5 year break!! We now fly at the other end of the feild because of all the trees they planted. We have quite a few more members flying helis now id say about 10 people now plus all the fixed wing guys
