450 pro.

Just got myself a 450 pro dfc .Does anyone have settings for the dx9 I could use as a guide It will be setup with the ar7200bx.This will be my first time at trying to setup the bx so does anyone know of a tutorial I could down load.Many thanks in advance.

Here you go dude. The beast x is very easy to setup. Download the quick reference page from the manual in case you need to make changes at the field.

Don't set anything into the transmitter, set up the bx first , in parameters menu " B ". Is the control behaviour , normal or sport will be easy to fly

There's nothing much on the Tx, other than Expo, pitch curves, and gains.

My headspeed is 3050 RPM. +/- 13 deg collective.

The rest is probably specific to your FBL, and mine are SKs.

Hi Mark.its more the percentages for swash movement as I remember I had to set 60% on elv,ail and pitch with one of them reversed .Maybe I can have a look at your settings when we meet at the club.

If your using normal , sport. , pro etc in as I've suggested above you don't use Dr & expo as its built into the program IE normal is dead easy to fly sport slightly harder and so on , unless you pick user define then you have to set up Dr & expo , watch the YouTube Fredy can fly microbeast setup , there's about 6 in the series , there realy good , I've watched them many times lol

The swash ECCPM stuff that is done in the Tx with FB, is done on the FBL instead.

The TX sends -100% to +100% collective; and -100% to +100% elev & aile. You can have pitch curves for collective; and DR/Expo for elev & aile, as you wish (or not).

There's also the rudder - but this is typically no different to a HH gyro.

As regards the ECCPM set-up, this will be specific to the FBL.

However, the principles will be the same. With zero collective (and cyclic), the servos should be centred. The link lengths should then be adjusted to give zero blade pitch on both blades, and at all blade positions.

Then for +100% collective, the servo travels and collective swash mix value are set to give your desired max +ve collective at all blade positions. [13% in my case.]

Then, using -100% collective, the opposite servo travels are used to give the desired -ve collective in all positions.

Then the elev & aile swash mixes are set to give the desired cyclic pitches.

I use these tools, and I think we recommend similar set-up methods. [I'm not sure which, if either, of us came up with it first. I obviously reckon I did...]

Well just watched the video link Gaz and it looks like it should be easy enough so i'll watch it a couple more times before I start.Do I need to have a satellite rx or is it alright without one.

Put a satellite on it Brian! You're bound to fly it a little bit further out than is sensible/preferable at least once!
