Hi all,
Recently I did some preventative maintenance on my 600N and replaced the clunk line in the header tank with some new tube.
So I was flying yesterday and all of a sudden the engine leaned out badly. I quickly landed and it was stinking hot. I sat there for a couple of minutes wondering what the hell it could be. Eventually I worked it out...
The clunk line end had jammed into the corner of the header tank. It jammed so that the clunk tip was flush with the plastic. So very little fuel could get through.
I took it out and shortened the line slightly. I think the tubing has expanded slightly from the fuel.
loiphin.
