Blade week skids fix

I've been using this mod to save breaking blade skids , this is on my 180cfx , as you may notice the heat shrink on the leg , I broke the only set I had so had to fix it with what I thought would be a temporary fix till new ones came , I put 2 tie wraps on the skids and then I used 3-1 glued heat shrink to hold them together , they have been on ever since , because they can't splay they don't break , you could also use tie wire or fishing line on smaller heli's ,nano etc ,
Even 2 straps one at each side might be better on bigger ones

I printed some of these for mine.


And then the servo's went lol.

Reminds me, must get some new servos.
So I still haven't a clue as to how strong they are

You can also boil them in hot water for 3 mins when you first get them, this alters the properties slightly and makes them a little less brittle .
