I just picked up my membership badge at the local RC Flying Club whilst attending their monthly BBQ and fun fly. A brilliant bunch of people who are very welcoming and friendly.
Interestingly enough, I met a fellow new member who I was told is an area BMFA Heli examiner. He did some amazing stuff with a Goblin 630 and got a well deserved round of applause from everyone when he finished flying.
An excellent evening all round.
