Is it not thunder tiger that would take the hit on the price offer as opposed to ripmax?

so it would be in there interest to support the offer?

ripmax were quite helpful the other week when I was struggling for a part. I've emailed them, and linked this thread, maybe they will comment? Help understand where the UK sits

I called the number and it works fine over here.

It is the equivalent if an '0800' number in the UK so not surprised it didn't work too well from the UK.

Had a chat with the slightly confused staff at HRP, but the short version is, they are distributors for the USA exclusively and cannot sell products to the UK so they are sorry if people in the UK have received emails accidentally, but they can't ship product into another distributors territory...

As for the 'who takes the hit' question, in the USA at least it is often split between manufacturer and distributor, this is one of the reasons why you often see offers over here that you never see in the UK.

Chances of Ripmax being willing to 'take a hit' ... Well, I think we know the answer

Reads to me like Thunder Tiger are making the offer so they will take the "hit" that's assuming the distributor makes the offer available to retailers. Know what they say though " never assume anything"
