  • FXD Flame Strike

I have a FXD flame strike for my son. It worked fine last time it was used last summer. Now it has a problem I need help with. I fully charged the battery same for the transmitter. All seemed ok, all the helicopter lights flashing, helecopter hovers and so forth. Trouble is that when I push the lever for it to turn left the power cuts out completely to the helicopter. Everything else works fine, forward, back, up, down, right but not left. It just loses power, I have looked at the wires and so forth to make sure they are ok and I can't see a problem. Any advice please...Dave

Sounds like a fault on whatever type of controller pcb it uses.

Would the pcb cause the top blades to rotate slower and the power cut when trying to turn?

Also can the pcb have a repairable problem or shall I just replace it? I can see the board and it looks ok, no visible damage. I think I can replace it myself.

I think you might struggle for spares on something like that to be honest mate.
