me and a couple of guy's are off to Corfu in April, taking over trex 450's and one of the guy's decided to phone ryaniar to ask what the company policy was lipo batteries, there reply was don't know what your talking about. anyone know what the rules are, as they all seem to change there minds.

hopefully the weather will be better than what he have been getting in Scotland

If you phone again ask about 'Lithium batteries' don't call them 'Lipo' as they will not understand.

If you are concerned about taking Lipos, have a chat with Spiros the owner of RC Hotel as he is the optipower dealer in Corfu and will rent you batteries for the time you are there.
check he has the batteries you need, presumably 2200 3s? And ask what connectors he uses, all you would have to do is solder the mating connector on your esc when you get there, or before you go.
he is a very helpful guy, may be an option for you?
