I have managed to pull the wires of a linear servo (while removing the tail on one of my 130x's). I have resoldered them and it all work fine but what would you use to stop them being easily coming off again? There was originally a white hard glue there (maybe from a glue gun). I don't have a glue gun but wondered if I could use maybe a dab of silicone sealant or something similar? Any suggestions? I guess anything that's non-conductive and will stick to PCB (and dry hardish) should do the job?

A dab of hot glue from a glue gun should be fine. It has a very high electrical resistance and if you wait for the gun to get nice and hot, it flows and sneaks into the gaps/surfaces nicelyLogo 600 3D --- Vortex Vx1n

Indeed, it is not particularly inert, unlike hot glue, and its also almost impossible to get it off should you want to / need to resolder.Originally posted by dillwhacker View PostNot sure I fancy silicone bath sealant here - IIRC it releases acetic acid as it cures.Logo 600 3D --- Vortex Vx1n
