  • Midland Helis

Credit where credit's due, placed an order at 1430 yesterday, received at 11 this morning, 21 hour turn around! Good effort well done lads (and ladies too?), well impressed.

You can smash your heli Friday, empty your wallet, fix it and fly it by Sunday

Got to agree, I've only been into flying heli's for a few months so I'm placing quite regular spares orders (!) and all three I use (Align-Trex, Fast Lads and Midland) are simply superb for their service and turn around but Midland edge to the top for me for the obvious care and attention they apply to each package to ensure nothing gets damaged on the way.

Enjoy the empty wallet and Sunday flight

Another +1 for MH, both their mail order and shop service. That said they've never offered me a coffee!

Order early in the day from most shops and 99% of the time you get it next day.....all they do is pack it in a box and wait for it to get picked up.

Real praise should go to the mail company

I should probably also give praise to Royal Mail to be fair, I mean they are the ones who have to actually deliver it, everyone tends to be very quick to slate them (how much to send blades?!?!) but I don't think they do bad.

Totally agree with you about royal mail... I drop a letter in the post box at 5.55pm and next day it gets to where I wanted!

Also +1 for Align UK... late order at 4.15pm and got my package next morning!

                          +1 on this!!

We are first to critise the shops when things don't turn up and first to praise when things do, but in reality 99% of the time it is down to the RoyalMail. Provided you get your orders in before the cut of time then you can with almost all certainty get what you ordered next day.

So, three cheers for the Royal Mail for getting their thumbs out of their arses and getting things right.
                          Happy Flying! Thanks - Dave

FastLads appear to be a more accurate scale, we use a franking machine in our company and the rates we get are pretty close to what Fastlads quote so i gauge them as been pretty accurate. I can tell you this much, Align UK are probably loosing money on every item then send with royalmail.

Not sure I agree. They still refuse to knock on the door of a neighbour to leave a parcel with them. Now they even make you wait til the next day to go to the sorting office to pick it up. Or for re delivery another day on top of that!! Nuts!

Slow and steady decline in service and with companies like Hermes I think they need to seriously re think how they do things.

Maybr be stuck to letters which they seem to be good at. Parcels they suck!
