  • Crimping Spektrum satellite leads???

    Hey folks,

I need to replace the satellite lead on my Trex 250, and thought I'd take the chance to shorten the lead as I did it, but my god, these are impossible to crimp. I've got a decent ratchet crimp tool which works fine for servo leads, but these satellite crimps are a nightmare.

Has anybody got any experience of working with these? Is there a crimp tool out there that works well for them?

Nevermind, just found hawk-rc on eBay, they sell leads all the way down to 6cm length for about £2 each. Really isn't worth the hassle or risk of making them myself now I've found these!
