i understand. And I understand that's is a shame that they have to be out of pocket.

But for me. The reason I'm saying anything in this thread. Is that I dislike it when people defend what is in essence terrible customer handling. (If that is what happened of course) there is no reason to insult anyone, customers or staff doing their job.

I mean. 'Three cheers for andy' why, because he allegedly insulted a customer? As jonesheli said. It was obvious where this thread was going. But try putting yourself in his situation. I bet you wouldn't be so understanding of it if it was you on the receiving end of abuse from a store. (Again, allegedly)


as said before, fast lads have never done anything wrong by me. And Andy has been awesome.

But how do we know that Fast Lads actually did insult him?? How? by saying that they wont cover the postage?

How many actually bother to claim the postage back in this situation? Not many at a guess. Yes law is one thing but individual moral compass is another and variable. I suspect the majority wouldn't bother as it was a change of mind and the error was the stores handling (reputedly) sometimes just got to suck it up as a retailer and thank you stars there aren't more of us who claim what we are entitled too. If you want your postage back and feel strongly enough why not it is your right even if you have caused the store costs for packaging, handling, processing, printing, invoicing, unboxing, processing, restocking and so on. Actually £5.99 seems too cheap to me.
