Yeah, that's basically what I do. Just enough negative pitch at full low stick to comfortably hover inverted or climb slowly. Makes basic loops, rolls and inverted hovering pretty easy on the sim at least! Obviously need a powered up throttle curve too for this to work.

Makes a big difference when you have a good invert pitch curve .. Very pleased im learning all this now prior to the Heli !
So 3 flight modes on the DX8 along with the Cut .. Can I add any more modes in to gear switches etc by the way !?

Personally i'd not like to fly inverted with a pitch curve that at full negative would only just hover or climb slowly. This wouldn't leave much room for correcting if you found the heli descending quickly when inverted, the feeling when you have used up all your pitch and the heli is still heading down isn't a good, believe me! IMHO it's always safer to have a fair margin on pitch range so if you are inverted and it's going all 'pear shaped' you can go to full negative and you know the heli will quickly climb away from danger.

          Hi mate ,

Totally know what you mean with the pitch and desending at speed , its really a hover invert only with some basic roles etc anything else I'll just revert back to a normal flight mode with full pitch range , I basicly have a baby hover mode and a baby hover invert mode the the other is just normal until I tweek it .. You can just climb so quicky with a normal pitch mode so the low invert mode Im using stops that ! I'll tweek it bit by bit but the hover only mode I'll do something else with as its a bit pointless now really !
