We all feel safe and amongst equals on here - and we are. Spam is surprising and unwelcome. However it is very rare and very obvious when it happens. Posting is a good test of true colours / no test of flying ability ...

I know it seems like a sledge hammer to crack a nut, but the only alternative I can think of is to ask all genuine members to include a picture of themselves in pink knickers with a 7 lb red parrot fish balanced on their head whilst holding an A4 sheet of paper with the date and words "gate88 rocks my world"In their hand?

The problem with spam is that its relentless.

There are 234k spam log entries and over 100 in the last 24hrs 99% are blocked its the 1% pain in the rear that get through.....
