  • Ec5 connectors

I have been having trouble disconnecting EC5 plugs from lipo to Esc seems to take a lot of pulling on the wires to part them. Does anybody else have this problem or a solution?.I am trying to fit an Emcotec SPS and have to take it off to disconnect lipo when i want to change lipo.Or is there a better connector i can use arthritis in hands does not help.

EC5's definitely take a bit of effort to pull apart - no bad thing though as you don't want the main power coming loose in flight! I never pull on the wires though - only on the plastic EC5 housing itself when disconnecting the batteries.

Honestly, I think it's just normal - but arthritis may make them too awkward for you. I'm not sure if other connector types may be easier to manipulate.

A word of caution from my experience. Check how tight the fit is on the connectors. I had a situation where it was a bit sloppy and ended up with the plastic melting together and was a complete pain to get separated.
