Phoenix V5 Sim/Driver issue

Had to post this as a thread as it's got my baffled and can't resolve ! I updated windows yesterday and now the Sim boots but won't start past the home screen giving a Driver hardware problem , attached pic below error when trying to start Sim ;

any help is appreciated as I've tryed basic Restore / Restore windows settings from last week nothing's worked .. Samsung Labtop running windows 7 on that one with Intel GC

It doesn't appear to be a driver issue but your graphics are below the minimum required to run the program. Have you got another PC you could try it on. The Phoenix support team are very good in my experience and have even replied on a weekend so it's worth giving that a go

thanks I'll give them a shout , I don't understand why the minimum spec wouldn't be met as the sims been fine on this Labtop for a month pre updates ;-( !

Oh okay, didn't know that. That's different mate, send them an email make sure you tell them it was fine before the update to V5. Have you tried uninstalling Phoenix and going through the setup from fresh, maybe the way Windows has updated has screwed with the install.

Thanks mate .. I'm pretty sure the updates have currupt my graphics driver as below >>

So ive rolled back the driver uninstalled the Sim and will reinstall see if that works ! Hhhhhhhhhhh
