My wife has Ulcerative Colitis & has only just gone back to work after 18 months. Like Sam she was rushed to hospital Dec 2013 & was being prepared for an emergency op to remove her bowl but thankfully it didn't come to that. What a lot of people don't understand is how severe it can impact your life. Even doctors seem to dismiss it as my wife was continually told she should go to work even though she was in agony & going 25-30 times a day. She's now having to inject once a fortnight but is about to go weekly for life as the meds that has a 99% success rate isn't fully working for her. She's in agony now as she had another procedure today. Hopefully soon she'll be back to herself again but with UC it can flare up at anytime & for any length of time too. Now how can I donate?

Hey Paddy,it doesn't sound nice and sorry to hear your wife is a sufferer

Sam gets on with things,i flew with him for months before i knew of the situation,i have a lot of respect for him for his attitude towards coping.

I don't think you have to have FB as there's an option to put in your email but i don't know what happens after that.
