I've been having 3 weeks from hell. Firstly our laptop charge port sparked & smoked because the pins broke off. Then our cooker socket got extremely hot & i found the wires were melting together thanks to the kitchen fitters 'brilliant sparky' as he said. Then my bikes starter relay just clicked & the live to the battery sparked like hell & caught fire. Then i had a flight, went to charge the lipo's & before i plugged them in the balance lead on the battery & charger brushed past each other & sparked killing my charger (bloody strange one that?). Then on friday morning both headlights blew as i switched the ignition on on my van. And then on my way back from flying today the airbag light came back on even though i have sorted the fault. Finally having getting p155ed off with fbl i have put the flybarred head back on as it's just sooooo much simpler & less messing around & whilst trying to get the servo's in the right ports i had a lead break out of the plug. So it's either repair or replace & right now i cannot be arsed as i've just had enough. The logo is staying on the shelf now where it's been for the last 16 months. But it's next flight will be flybarred.

I have a dead JR tail servo, just wondering if i should solder the wires on the broken one? some say soldering is fine but others say only crimp. Either way i look forward to seeing how it will feel with the flybar back on when i've finished sulking.

Get a servo extension lead, cut the socket off, cut off your knackered plug & solder 3 wires together.

the last 10ft was pure guess work as it was behind a hedge
